Settle the Matter by Rod Parsley

Settle the Matter And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness. Genesis 1:3-4 Many times Christians say that God gave them this or that illness. God doesn't give His children any ailments. Sickness is the work of the devil, and he alone should be blamed for it. You have no business claiming it "for God's glory." When God gives His children things, they are good things, for He is a good God. The Bible establishes this fact from the very beginning. After each act of creation God looked it over and declared that it was good. How can a good God give out disease, illness, lack, poverty, or violence and still be a good God? He cannot. God is good through and through, and there is no evil in Him. Whatever He does is for good, and if the enemy gives us his rotten fruit of disease, poverty or illness we can refuse to accept it in Jesus' name. Romans 8:28 says, "We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." We can be confident God will work all things for our good and His glory-if we believe He will. Further Reading James 1:17 Genesis 1 Genesis 2 God Bless
