The first (plague) was blood in the Nile (Exodus 7:28). The second plague was the frogs. God was bringing judgments on all the Egyptians' gods. The frog god was Heget or Heket was a fertility goddess. God was showing Pharoah that is the almighty God. How many know about God but don't know God. What is your idol? The magicians couldn't remove the frogs instead they made the situation worse (Exodus 8:7). Instead of letting God's people go immediately, Pharoah told Moses to wait until tomorrow. (Exodus 8:10). So how plagues will you have to suffer before you come to God?
