I am glad I made it a point to go to the essence music festival since 1.) I didn't know if I could next year with starting a new job 2.) I live close by it. Anyways, I happen to get a picture with Shirley Strawberry and an autographed copy of her book. I saw Terry McMillian and Stephanie Mills (didn't know who she was until someone told me).
