Anxious About Nothing by Rod Parsley

Anxious About Nothing Be anxious about nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:6 The Bible often commands us to avoid anxiety and fear. God tells us that He will supply for our every need. Even though we may not see the fruits of our faith immediately, we should always thank God, knowing He will bring them when the time is right. Philippians is very clear on this point-prayer and petition must be accompanied by thanksgiving. In Philippians 4:19 God's Word promises that He will supply "all your needs in accordance with His riches." Picture for a moment what the riches of God must look like! There is no need to fear that these boundless blessings will ever run out. God has promised you the abundance of His riches! Be of the same mindset as David in Psalms 118:6, "The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?" Don't look down at the ground in discouragement-look up to heaven and praise Him for the great gifts He has promised you! Then get up and go, believing and expecting that God will supply for all your needs. Today is the day to stand on those everlasting promises!
