Sovereign Lord by Rod Parsley

Sovereign Lord That the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:10-11 In the kingdom of Light, God is the One who gives the orders. He is the Lord-we are His disciples. He is the Master-we are His servants. We are called to do only what He says to do and not what we think should be done! In the last few years, a gospel of humanism has entered the Church. It says, "March up to the throne of heaven and tell Him, 'This is what the Bible says, and what I expect!'"-as if you have the right to tell God how you feel things should be and He is obligated to do whatever you desire. Look how ridiculous this is... the people who believe this faulty gospel are unknowingly bowing at the altar of self-indulgence and saying it is God. We, on our own, cannot know the right course of action unless we have Him guiding us there. The truth is: God is not dependent on us. You are the one dependent upon Him. He delivered you and chose you. He is the Potter and you are the clay. It is up to us to say, "You are the Lord and I will obey You... I will bear Your mark. Mold me and shape me."
